The 1^st International Symposium of Ergonomic Design and Interfaces Human x Technology will occur together with the 6^th Ergodesign - International Congress of Ergonomics and Usability of Human-Technology Interfaces: Products, Information, Built Environment, Transportation; and has as a goal to congregate researchers from Brazil and from the world, to discuss the state of art of the Design, Ergonomics and Interfaces Man vs. Technology.

It is the beginning of the appearance and insertion of the Laboratory of Ergonomics and Interfaces, linked to the Department of Industrial Design and the Program  of Postgraduation in Industrial Design of the Faculty of Architecture, Arts & Communication, of UNESP - Bauru Campus, in the scientific scenery and participating in the consolidation of the Design and Ergonomics as areas of the scientific knowledge.

The discussion of the subjects referents to the Ergonomics and Products Development intend to encourage new researches and the exchange of the knowledge applied.
